The Progressive Era: 100 Years Later

Through the examination of three general Progressive aims (greater democracy, less inequality, and increased living conditions), this article addresses the modern applicability of early twentieth century reforms; specifically focusing on what they sought to address, as well as their lasting impact on American politics.
